Introducing the Vernon Jubilee Hospital Auxiliary

Our volunteers operate an amazing VJH Gift Shop on the main floor of the hospital 6 days a week from 10am to 4 pm. This offers a large selection of patient-requested items as well as gifts.

We also work together to hold fundraising events throughout the year, such as our annual Christmas Bazaar, Bake Sale and Silent Auction. We have in the past organized a 2024 Mother's Day Lunch, and a Spring 2025 Fashion Show. Our mission is to work as a team, to help fund essential hospital equipment, bursaries and other important initiatives for the Vernon Jubilee Hospital.

The VJH Auxiliary has a long history of service to our hospital and community. Established in 1907, we are proud to have celebrated 118 years! Our members dedicate thousands of hours annually. 100% of all funds we raise are used to meet direct patient care needs and improve the comfort, welfare, and resources of the Hospital.

We are one of the many hospital Auxiliary organizations across BC. We work closely with the provincial organizing body called BCAHA (learn more at www.bchealthcareaux.org). We have one of our very own Auxiliary members, Amanda L, serving as an Executive Director for the Okanagan Mainline Area!
